Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Thank you to those who have already volunteered for Easter Puja / Wellness Camp. We are still in need of more volunteers to take on various tasks such as transportation, accommodation, security, shopping and providing help with cooking at the wellness camp (although wellness camp attendees will be rostered on for cooking, cleaning etc).
If you are willing to contribute your time, energy and vibrations to this auspicious event, please fill in this online form to let us know which areas you can help in.
The main areas still required for volunteering:
- Transport (Team lead required for organising and comms; Drivers needed for trips from Burwood to Balmoral, Tahmoor to Balmoral and back)
- Accommodation
- Wellness Camp (Meal cooking and cleaning by wellness camp attendees via roster, need help with meal planning, working out food qantities, managing yogis for doctor)
- Puja Hall and altar area
- Lakshmi baskets
- Shopping (groceries and supplies)
- Gift for puja attendees
- Flowers
- First Aid
- Security
- Daily tidy-up including bins
- Registration (manning rego desk, ordering wristbands)
- Easter egg hunt
- Children’s activities
- Property readiness
- Outdoor seating area (clearing tables and setting up for the next meal)
